We chose this caterer for our wedding because of their reputation (number 1 in Pau, 4.9/5). The service on the day was friendly and professional, but some aspects disappointed us. Despite a 10% discount following a reduction in the number of guests (announced more than a month in advance), we found the financial rigidity excessive. The quote would benefit from being clearer about the distinction between the approximate and final number of guests: the wording is sometimes contradictory and suggests that, even in the event of a significant decrease, the billing may still be based on the initial quote. As for the food, the quality was inconsistent from one table to another: some of our guests had undercooked pan-seared foie gras, and the vanilla cream puff was bland and grainy. For a caterer of this caliber and given the budget involved, we expected more consistency, flexibility, and clarity in communication. In conclusion, better communication beforehand would help avoid misunderstandings and limit unpleasant surprises, especially regarding the final number of guests to announce. That said, we still had a wonderful wedding and thank the team for their friendliness and professionalism on the day.
