Excellent restaurant. A culinary journey featuring seasonal produce and highly original seasonings. Every dish was delicious. Quality wines, excellent champagne. I highly recommend it.

Discovered this restaurant for lunch today. The staff were very friendly, both on the phone and in the restaurant. A charming little place. The food was fresh and delicious, served quickly, and the portions were generous. We will gladly return if the opportunity arises.

Superb cuisine, always perfectly executed...I absolutely love it! It had been so long since I'd been back...what a waste of time ;) For me, one of the best restaurants in Pau.

My review has changed slightly since it doesn't directly concern the restaurant on Rue Valéry Meunier, but rather the fact that they came to La Forge Moderne last night. They offered several small dishes for €6, which were very varied and suitable for all dietary needs. These dishes were very good; I tried two: the ravioli and the tart. The service was quick; I think everything was already prepared or nearly so. My friend ordered the taloa and the chocolate cake, which also looked delicious. Furthermore, I found the restaurant owners to be very friendly. :) It would be great if you came back!

We went for lunch with two little ones. We ordered two set menus for ourselves and one to share with the kids. The food was truly delicious, flavorful, and well-prepared. Even though the kids were sharing a set menu, they brought us each a second course and a dessert. They were incredibly kind and generous. A great place to try French food at a very affordable price. A pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. Highly recommended.

The idea of ​​not being able to choose our dishes held me back for a long time before finally going to try this restaurant that our friends had been raving about. In the end, I took the plunge and my husband and I went for lunch. It was a real treat; everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The chef was lovely. My only regret: not having come sooner!

A perfect meal! I thank the chef for her attentiveness and kindness. My partner and I had come for dinner, but an unforeseen event forced me to leave the table after the aperitif. My partner was nevertheless able to enjoy an absolutely perfect meal in my absence, and the chef thoughtfully offered me my meal to take away. I was thus able to enjoy delicious, flavorful dishes later on. A friendly chef who showcases local and seasonal produce. I highly recommend it: go without hesitation!
