Delicious Uruguayan empanadas to take away, great variety. They should offer more vegetarian options.

The Empanadas are very tasteful (in Buenos Aires they say 'rico') and made with love. I had a lot of Empanadas in Buenos Aires and I can tell: Las Empandadas du Soleil (de Uruguay) son ricissimo! I just had mine at one of the two high tables. It was exactly what I needed. BTW: Pao is a very beautiful city! 5 Stars for you!

Don't miss this little gem in Pau! We came across it accidentally and had one of our favorite meals of our vacation. The empanadas are delicious - each so different and so flavorful. There are only a few street-side tables, but one can also carry-out the food and eat at home or at a picnic. Great value and great food!

Honestly, I walk past it from time to time, and every time it's closed, I think, "Damn, I could have really used a little empanada," and when it's open, I grab one. It's incredible that such a small kiosk serves such good food at such a low price. In short, it's delicious, very inexpensive, and incredibly high quality.

An address not to be missed, with very good and homemade specialties.

A wonderful experience! I rediscovered the flavors of South America, where I spent five years of my life. I never thought I'd find this in Pau. Top-notch service. I highly recommend it.
