Le Boulevard

A nice place, the staff were very friendly and pleasant. I didn't have to wait long, and the daily special was generous. Nothing to complain about, simple and efficient ☺️ I had a good time.

Outrageous! A platter order! A can of pâté (the cheapest kind) 4 slices of sheep's cheese (tasteless) For €18 🥵 What a markup! I've never seen such a ridiculously expensive platter.

Excellent restaurant, great value for money. We had the Boulevard Burger with foie gras and Jurancon mushroom sauce... a delight with a small glass of dry Jurancon... absolutely perfect.

I waited 15 minutes on the terrace without being served, even though there was nobody inside or outside except for the waitress who was hiding to avoid crossing the street... great location, it's a shame you can't have a drink because of the waitresses' laziness

Excellent spot in Pau to have a drink with a view of the Pyrenees!

My wife and I ate at Le Boulevard in Pau. The meal was generally decent, especially the duck breast and leg, which were quite good. However, we were disappointed by the service: the waitresses weren't very friendly and didn't smile much. Furthermore, we weren't asked how we wanted our meat cooked or what sauce we wanted, which is important for this type of dish. It's a shame, because with more attentive service, the experience would have been much better.

A very good time, nice and very good restaurant

We had a pleasant time at Boulevard, enjoying the view of the snow-capped Pyrenees during the hour-long wait before someone finally deigned to attend to our table. We ended up calling the waitress, who explained that she hadn't thought that part of the terrace was her responsibility, despite the chairs bearing a "B" logo (for Boulevard, I presume). So, as it was teatime, we asked for a menu. The waiter asked if we were going to order food, and we replied that it was possible before bringing it to us after several trips back and forth. When it came time to take our order, the new waiter informed us that desserts weren't served on that part of the terrace but suggested a charcuterie board instead 🤨 (the neighboring table was just as bewildered as we were). Oh well, we only ordered drinks, which we had to pay for upon arrival, with no discount, of course. Luckily, the unobstructed view accompanied us throughout this ordeal.
