Goût d’orient

Delicious a few years ago, but the quality has declined since then, which is a shame. There's no more homemade bread, and fewer raw vegetables. They used to be the best.

10 euros for the shawarma plus a bottle of water—a fantastic price, especially in France. The shawarma was delicious, and I don't need to try any other Arabic restaurant to know this is the best in town. If I ever return to Pau, I'll definitely come back.

A true gem that deserves to be known and appreciated. My best discovery in Pau. The food is refined, high-quality, and the portions are generous (I was with my 18-year-old son...who was stuffed!). Everything is homemade. The meat is delicious. Go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. The staff is very pleasant.

I ate inside alone, ordering an "Oriental Taste" platter with several meats for €21. I found the portions too small... the taste was there! And the service wasn't great; the man was on the phone taking my order and processing my payment at the same time... the portions need to be reviewed or the prices reviewed.

The welcome is perfect, the plates are very generous and good, the prices are very reasonable.

Wow! I'm speechless. I've rarely eaten such a generous and delicious meal with such top-notch service. My only complaint is my stomach; I would have loved to try everything on the menu. I highly recommend the sharing platters. I'll be back again and again 🙏🙏 See you soon 🙏
