Definitely the best pizzas in Pau. I've been ordering Capriciosa since 1982. They're delicious. I highly recommend them! I'm adding another review in July 2026. The pizzeria has changed owners, but the pizzas are still just as good. Well done!

I could have given it 5 stars because these are the best pizzas in Pau. We came to wish them a well-deserved retirement but left with our tails between our legs, a little disappointed by the grumpy welcome from the lady of the house 😤... Finally, retirement! It was about time!!! Phew! Too bad. All the best to the new owners 👍

The facts are simple: two people, the same dishes, the same severe symptoms a few hours after eating. We reported an experience, not made a baseless accusation. To claim that it is “impossible” that this came from your products, without any analysis, is a certainty you cannot establish. As a restaurant owner, you have a duty of care and hygiene towards your customers. When a report of this kind is made, it should be taken seriously, not dismissed out of hand. Attributing our symptoms to Coca-Cola consumption is pure speculation. Bringing up old reviews to discredit a customer does nothing to address the issue raised. A professional confident in their practices responds with restraint and responsibility, not with an attack. Let everyone judge for themselves.

As a long-time customer, I've always enjoyed this restaurant. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed my opinion. Yesterday, I came for dinner with my girlfriend. We both ordered the same dishes: calamari as a starter, followed by pasta with cream sauce and salmon. A few hours after our meal, we both felt very ill, with severe stomach pains. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the dining room was already questionable, which, in hindsight, is all the more worrying. I find this very disappointing, especially after years of loyalty. I sincerely hope the establishment will take the necessary steps to prevent this from happening again. As things stand, I don't plan to return. Response to your initial review: I am shocked by the tone of your response... I should have taken photos and posted them with the review regarding the hygiene of your dining room. We both got sick 48 hours ago, so there's definitely a problem. You can keep your medical theories to yourself. Your response only serves to reassure future customers who see my message. I respect your profession; I myself have HACCP training. I just hope another customer doesn't get sick. Take your work seriously, be professional, and own up to your mistakes.
