We stumbled upon this place with our three children, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was quick and friendly, and above all, the pizza dough was absolutely fantastic. Super thin and perfectly cooked. The pizzas were excellent and generously topped. It's honest, fresh, and the price reflects that. Even if the location isn't the most romantic at first glance, the service and the terrace make you feel right at home. We paid less than €20 per person for a pizza, dessert, and coffee. If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back.

The food is truly excellent! I highly recommend it. The daily specials are superb, the chef's suggestions are great, and the service is top-notch, with a smile and a great sense of humor.

The pizzas weren't cooked, the meat was still full of blood inside, you couldn't eat inside 😭😭😭 Run away if you don't want to throw yourself on them and catch a variant of Covid-29! Otherwise, the lady at the reception was very nice, the problem seems to be in the kitchen, at least the pizzas weren't up to scratch!!!!

We live just a few hundred meters from Matana. And we're so lucky! We're always warmly welcomed, the service is incredibly efficient and cheerful, for adults and children alike. In the warmer months, the patio is lovely and very popular! The dishes are home-style and delicious, served generously, and with a great variety—you never get tired of them. And then there's the humanity and helpfulness that are so rare these days. Opening the restaurant to welcome us for dinner with our family and friends the night before my mother's funeral allowed us to nourish ourselves both physically and emotionally. And then meeting up with the team again the next day for a memorable lunch that everyone who was there still talks about two months later. Matana is run by a fantastic team, with exceptional culinary skills as well as genuine human qualities. If you're looking for a great meal in a friendly atmosphere, go for it! A very good brasserie for lunch

What can I say... We arrived on a Friday at 8:30 pm, my sons and I, without a reservation. We were greeted with a big smile and a friendly atmosphere, the kind you rarely see these days. The service was quick and warm, the meal, which was fairly and reasonably priced, turned out to be delicious, and the waitress regularly checked that we had everything we needed (bread, water) without being intrusive, but always smiling and energetic. The perfect combination. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
