Sometimes poor hygiene outside; trainees need to learn hygiene.

I'm usually quite understanding, but since April we've repeatedly encountered the same employee, and between the time he was rude to his colleagues and all the other times he seemed lost, it's not exactly encouraging.

I've been to this bakery several times and the service has been mixed. I'm often left alone at the till while the employees chat behind the window. Sometimes I get a greeting, sometimes not. As for the bread, I don't recommend it. The Nordic bread was overcooked, almost burnt; another time, the spelt bread was doughy and extremely salty. I tried the baguette, and it was rubbery. After reading other reviews, I doubt the products are truly artisanal.

It's always a pleasure to stop by Sophie's for a short break; the selection is great and the prices are reasonable.
